Alexa also was the Design Consultant for a large remodel project I was the Contractor on. We did a major exterior face lift/remodel and major interior remodel including a new master suite, master bath, custom walk-in closet, new family room fireplace and additional bedrooms and baths on the lower level of the home.

Alexa is very knowledgeable in the building process and understand the balance between design and functionality when working with on site decisions and changes as well as budgets. She understands value engineering and decisions that impact value versus functionality. She’s very professional.

Alexa Cowley was great to work with. We were remodeling our kitchen and stripped it down to nothing. I knew what I didn't want, but needed fresh ideas and current styles. She listened to my ideas and helped me formulate a design that stayed within my style, not hers.

I felt very comfortable working with Alexa in all aspects of my project. Most important for me was that she was straight forward, efficient and timely.

The new rooms did the exact trick I was looking for, as a mom of 4 kids under 6, I needed some very understated décor and design. She helped me create space that combine function (storage for toys) and are beautiful. I can have people over now and entertain on the main level. All the toys and kid stuff blends and has a home.

The thing about Alexa that was attractive to me was that she returned calls quickly, did not ever make my existing décor or choices seem terrible and was able to do some additional sprucing up on other spaces that did not get the full treatment.

She created terrific designs for my challenges. The kitchen table (a built in on 2 sides) is truly a thing of beauty. I can fit 10 people at it and it has a terrific family feeling.

I have very eclectic tastes and I think that was a challenge at first, I did end up with exactly what I wanted. Alexa understood the main issue was to under do whatever the design style I choose. She was also a gem about not helping me spend tons of money when it wasn’t necessary. She gave me “homework” and ideas of what to buy a less expensive prices and where to spend the big bucks. In the past I think I have spent more money than necessary on all the new things I decorate with. This was a great plus to have someone who sent me out on my own for some things and save me some money!
